Mike Osborne-Town for Stonefield & Christchurch

Mike Osborne-Town is our candidate for Stone Town Council in the Stonefield & Christchurch by-election. Mike lives in the ward and been a resident of Stone for more than 30 years. His career was in secondary education first as a teacher, then headteacher and finally as a CEO of a Multi-Academy Trust. He was a Managing Director of a medium-size business. He understands the importance of public services to local communities and of making every penny count.

Mike is currently a volunteer at the Royal Stoke Hospital. He also helps with the Rotary mobility scheme and delivers food parcels for Stone Community Hub.

“I’m a great believer in using local businesses, tradespeople and facilities. We need to invest in our town and participate in town activities and I particularly look forward to supporting the exciting, new Crown Wharf development. My priorities if elected are also to make Stone the green capital of Staffordshire and improve housing and community facilities in the town, especially for children, young people and senior citizens.”
